At the foot of the Criou peak and a stone's
throw away from the Clévieux river,
La Chéniaz enjoys a prime
position within this very quiet part of
Samoëns.
It offers the opportunity to sample French
village life, with only a short walk (600m) to
the centre of Samoëns. Road access is very
easy as there is no slope to climb. It is 1.3km
from the Grand Massif Express.
This pretty traditional, timber-built chalet
offers comfortable accommodation of a good
standard. Built in typical Savoyard style, La
Chéniaz's beamed ceilings and pine
panelling throughout creates an inviting
ambience in which to relax.
The cosy interior is well furnished and
tastefully arranged. The lounge/dining area has
a sofa bed and the American-style kitchenette
area is very well equipped.
The first bedroom is south-facing on the ground
floor and has a double bed. Opposite the
bedroom is a bathroom with bath and a separate
wc. The other two bedrooms are upstairs; both
are south facing and have two single beds.
The second bathroom has a shower and a wc.
Outside the lounge is a terrace.
There is what looks like a second chalet on the
grounds but in fact it's a spacious garage with
room for two cars!
A free shuttle bus, to point of ski
departure stops 300m from the chalet.
Skis can be stored in the garage.
Bed linen, towels and local tourist tax are
included in the price. End of stay cleaning on
request €50. Refundable deposit €150.
Pets are accepted.
