In the same area as Chalet La Chéniaz, by the Clévieux river, Chalet Alpina enjoys a prime position within this very quiet part of Samoëns. It is only a short walk to the centre of the charming village, and to the stop for the free ski bus.

This traditional, 18^th century farmhouse was entirely renovated in 2002 and now offers comfortable accommodation of a very high standard in two spacious self-contained apartments.

The cosy interiors with beamed ceilings and wood panelling are well furnished and tastefully arranged. Both apartments enjoy a large sunny south-facing balcony offering views over the surrounding mountains. Each one has a very well equipped kitchen area with brand new appliances: fridge-freezer, 4-ring electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, fondue set, washing machine and a TV in the lounge.

Le Clévieux (sleeping 8, 100m²) occupies the lower floor. The large lounge/dining area is an inviting place in which to relax with its comfortable wooden sofas. The lovely separate kitchen is a good size. There is one twin and one double bedroom, the third one has 4 single beds. There is a bathroom with shower, a separate wc and a shower room.

Le Criou (sleeping 11, 150m²) occupies the higher floors.

Downstairs, the spacious lounge/dining with its stylish modern alpine décor and wood burning stove (wood supplied free) creates a warm feeling. The kitchen area is functional. There are two bedrooms each with 3 single beds and a bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom has shower and bath. Separate wc. Upstairs there is a further bedroom with 3 single beds and another shower room with wc.

There is parking for 3 cars (1 for Le Clévieux, 2 for Le Criou) and free parking 50m away. The free resort ski shuttle bus departs from just 300m away.

Washing machine, dishwasher, satellite TV, central heating.

End of stay cleaning is included in the price. Local tourist tax c €0.60/pers/day. Refundable deposit £500payable by UK cheque prior to departure. Costs to hire are €7 per single bed, €7.60 per double bed and €5.50 per towel set.
