The residence Les Chalets Les Marmottes in St
Jean is in a rural setting with breathtaking
views over the majestic surrounding peaks,
including the Aiguilles d’Arves. A short
distance from the centre of the village, it is
ideally located at the foot of the slopes,
between 50 and 200m from the ski lifts.
Built for the Winter 2002/03 season in typical
mountain style with extensive use of wood, the
residence is composed of 20 south facing
two-storey chalets each housing 6 apartments.
It comprises of a fully equipped apartments of
a good standard ranging from studios to
spacious three bedroom apartments sleeping up
to 8 people.
Les Chalets Les Marmottes has a spacious
reception area with open fireplace and a
childrens corner (games and colouring books), a
billiard table (payable) and wireless internet
access (at Reception, payable). Access to the
outdoor Jacuzzi is payable
(€5/pers/20 mins session, including loan
of bathrobe and slippers). Free outdoor parking
(1 car space per apartment). There are a number
of restaurants, a pub, a launderette, a
mini-market, cinema and sports shops 100m from
the residence. Free shuttle bus to the night
club located 3km away.
The apartments at Les Chalets Les Marmottes are
fitted and furnished to a good standard of
comfort and convenience. They have: fully
equipped kitchenettewith hob, fridge,
dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee-maker,
toaster, a bathroom or shower room with wc
(sometimes separate). All apartments enjoy a
south-facing balcony (terrace for ground floor
apartments).

25m2): living area with double
pull-out bed (making up 2 single beds) or a
double sofa bed, alcove with bunk beds.
2 bedroom apartment sleeping 4-6(c
40m2): living area with a double
pull-out bed (making up 2 single beds), bedroom
with a double bed (sometimes upstairs with
sloping roof), bedroom with bunk beds.
2 bedroom mezzanine apartment sleeping
6-8 (c 55m2): living area with a double
pull-out bed (making up 2 single beds), bedroom
with a double bed, bedroom with 2 single beds,
mezzanine with a double pull-out bed (making up
2 single beds), extra wc.
Prices include: fully equipped
apartment.
