Chalet Sleeps 8 Bedrooms: 3
Nestling on the edge of woodland on the
perimeter of Morillon Village, Chalet Kandahar
is set amongst similar stylish chalets. The
chalet is conveniently located near the road
between Morillon and Samoens making access to
the villages easy.
This new chalet was completed in 2004 and is
designed in typical Savoyard style with pine
paneling throughout. All the fittings and
equipment are of a very high standard, from the
large comfortable sofas in the living area to
the modern kitchen fittings and appliances or
the large bathrooms with double washbasins.
On the ground floor, the very bright spacious
dining/living room is equipped with comfortable
sofas, a TV, HIFI and a DVD player. There is
also WIFI available in the chalet.
The large kitchen is separate to the
dining/living area although it is open-plan. It
is fully equipped with all the mod cons of a
British home.
The chalet sleeps 8 comfortably in three
bedrooms with two leading onto a balcony,
offering lovely views of the Giffre Valley.
Bedroom 1 has a king size double with en-suite
shower room and French windows onto the
balcony; Bedroom 2 has a double bed also with
French windows leading to the balcony; Bedroom
3 has a set of bunk beds suitable for adults or
children and 2 single beds fitted with under
bed drawers.
The bathroom is very large and is fitted with a
double washbasin, WC and bath with
shower. There is also a separate WC on
this floor.
The chalet is well catered for families with
children with 2 cots, highchair, changing table
and mat, children’s cutlery and dishes.
The terrace is used as the main entrance and
the front door takes you straight in to the
kitchen. There is a table, 8 chairs and a
BBQ on the terrace and there is a balcony along
the whole front of the chalet.
The garage is used for storage. There is space
to park two cars by the chalet.
The owners’ English mother lives in a
separate small apartment on the ground floor of
the chalet. She acts as the caretaker and is
available to our clients, exclusively and at an
extra charge, for babysitting day or
night. She also offers home cooked
chilled/freezer meals for our guests if they
don't feel like cooking one night or even every
night!
Bed linen (with beds made on arrival), towels
and end of stay cleaning are included in the
prices. Refundable deposit £400 (payable
by UK cheque prior to departure). Local tourist
tax of c €1.00/pers/day payable locally on
arrival.
