Set on the
hillside near Verchaix village above Morillon,
Chalet Chante is a newly built, south-facing
property, which offers expansive views across
the valley.
The centres of
Morillon
and
Samoëns
with their shops and
restaurants are just a short 5-8 minute drive
away. Verchaix is only 50 mins drive from
Geneva.
The Chalet,
which was completed in November 2004, is
arranged over three well-appointed
floors.
It
is fully equipped with new fittings and
comfortable furnishings including 2 TVs, DVD
player and video as well as a selection of
toys, books and videos for children. Please
note that the TVs are not set up to receive
broadcast TV (even French TV) and are therefore
only used for DVDs and videos.
On the ground
floor there is an open plan living/dining/
kitchen area. The living area has two
comfortable sofas and a chair and a large
dining table with seating for 8. The
stunning views of the Giffre Valley can also be
enjoyed from the terrace, which runs along the
front and side of the residence. The kitchen is
well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, hob
and fridge freezer. There is also a
bathroom on this floor and a separate
wc.
On the first
floor there are three bedrooms. One has a
double bed and the other two have two single
beds in each. There is also a fourth
bedroom on the lower level of the chalet.
It has an ensuite and can be made in to either
a twin or double room.
For the
comfort and convenience of guests there is
under floor heating throughout the chalet and a
utility room with washing machine and tumble
dryer on the lower floor.

Refundable deposit £400 (payable by UK
cheque prior to departure). Local tourist tax
