Chalet Sleeps 8 Bedrooms: 3
Nestling on the edge of woodland on the
perimeter of Morillon Village, Chalet Kandahar
is set amongst similar stylish chalets such as
Les
Marmottes.
The main gondola (250m away) and the village
centre with its shops and restaurants are
within walking distance. The new Grand Massif
Express gondola (Samoens) is a flat 2km away.
Road access to the chalet is very easy as there
is no slope to climb.
This imposing new chalet was completed in 2004.
It is designed in typical Savoyard style and
has the character of a traditional property
with pine panelling throughout.
All the fittings and equipment are of a very
high standard, from large comfortable sofas in
the living area to the modern kitchen fittings
and appliances and the large family bathroom
with double washbasins fitted with a baby
changing table and mat.
Arranged over two floors it sleeps 8
comfortably in three bedrooms (on the first
floor), 2 with fitted wardrobes leading to a
balcony offering lovely views of the Giffre
Valley.
The first bedroom has a king size double bed
with en-suite shower room, the second one has a
double bed and the third bedroom has a set of
adult size bunk beds and 2 single beds. There
are also 2 infant cots available.
The bathroom is very large and is fitted with
double washbasins, WC and bath with
shower. There is also a separate WC on
this floor.
On the ground floor the very bright spacious
dining/living room has under-floor heating and
a ‘Godin’ log burning fire.
It is equipped with comfortable sofas, a TV,
Hi-Fi and DVD. There are a number of
DVD’s, board games and books
supplied.
The kitchen is separate to the dining/living
area although it is open plan. It is fully
equipped with all the mod cons of a British
home including good knives, peelers, garlic
crushers, a pizza slice and so on plus 4 sets
of children’s cutlery and plates.
The terrace is used as the main entrance and
the front door takes you straight in to the
kitchen. The balcony runs all along the
front of the Chalet.
Under-floor heating with added electric
radiator on the first floor. There is space to
park two cars by the chalet.
The owners’ English mother lives in a
small apartment in the Chalet. She acts as the
caretaker and is available to our clients,
exclusively, at an extra charge, for
babysitting in the evening. She also
offers home cooked chilled/freezer meals for
our guests if they don't feel like cooking one
night or any night! (Menu and pre-order form
available on request).

End of stay cleaning, bed linen, with beds made
on arrival, towels, and logs for the fire are
included in the price.Refundable deposit
£400 payable by UK cheque prior to
departure. Local tourist tax payable locally
c€1.00/pers/day.
Cot (with cot linen) and high chair available
at no supplement.
