Chalet Gueules de Loup is set on the hillside
near Verchaix village above Morillon. The views
towards Flaine, Morillon and Taninges are just
tremendous. The centres of Morillon and
Samoëns with their shops, restaurants and
three main Grand Massif/Flaine piste departures
are just a short 8 mins drive away. For
convenience there is a large free cark park at
the foot of the new Samoëns gondola. The
free ski bus also stops at Verchaix village
hall, which can be reached by
foot from the chalet (downhill but uphill
back so a bit far with skis and boots) (taking
11 minutes to the gondola). It is only 50 mins
drive from Geneva. A car is strongly
recommended.
This large comfortable chalet was designed in
typical Savoyard style and offers flexible
accommodation with a two storey chalet above
sleeping up to 8/10 people, and a single level
apartment for up to 4 people on the lower
ground floor. The property retains a
traditional character boasting pine-panelling
throughout and lovely lounge areas with
beautiful log fires.
There are stunning views of the Giffre Valley
from the large sunny balcony. Ideal for large
parties, the chalet is equipped like a
comfortable private house, including satellite
TV (Sky freeview for BBC/ITV), DVD and video,
radio and CD player (in the upstairs chalet for
10) and a selection of English books.
All the fittings and equipment are of a very
high standard, from the comfortable sofas in
the living areas to the kitchen fittings, and
all bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
The upper chalet entrance leads to a central
hallway. There is a spacious lounge/dining room
area with log burning fire, a double bed-settee
in the lounge, with double doors leading onto
the balcony. The kitchen is modern and fully
equipped with dishwasher, large fridge/freezer,
4-ring electric hob, full size oven, microwave,
toaster, coffee machine, and electric kettle.
Doors from the kitchen and dining areas lead to
a large patio area and a 36m2 decked
area. Large double (or twin) bedroom with
access to the balcony. Bathroom with shower,
small bath and wc.
Stairs lead from the main hallway to the upper
floor which has a twin room, a double or twin
room with access to the balcony, a mezzanine
lounge with two single sofa beds and access to
the balcony, and a bathroom with shower, small
bath and separate wc.
Tiled floor throughout with under-floor heating
downstairs and radiators in all rooms upstairs.
The apartment below the chalet has a separate
entrance, for rental with or separately from
the chalet.
Comfortable accommodation for 4 people with a
large double bedroom, lounge/dining room area
with wood burning stove, double sofa-bed,
bathroom with shower, and wc. There is also an
extra single folding bed. Fully equipped
kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, full size
oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, electric
kettle, dishwasher, washing machine/ dryer (not
available to upper chalet guests), TV, video,
radio & CD player. Double doors lead from
the dining and lounge areas to a large patio
and garden. Tiled floor throughout with
radiators in all rooms.
There is ample parking for up to eight cars, a
detached garage with ski and boot racks, and a
private garden area.
For the comfort of all guests, the chalet is
totally non-smoking and the maximum number of
adults allowed in the chalet is 8.
Please note: two of the double beds upstairs
can be unzipped to make up 2 single beds (to be
arranged before arrival, otherwise a supplement
will be charged locally) and there is an
additional folding single bed in the apartment
downstairs. Travel cot (bedding not provided)
available at no extra charge.

Bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning are
included in the price. Refundable deposit
£400 (payable by UK cheque prior to
departure).
Please note that although the whole
chalet can sleep up to 14 we recommend a
maximum of 12 guests.
