Situated in the pretty La Turche area of Les
Gets, with superb unobstructed views towards
the Mont- Chèry, Chalet Tisserand was
completed in December 2003 by local craftsmen.
It is right next to Chalet
Pas de Chèvre.
It is possible to ski back close to the chalets
(snow permitting) and the main ski area of Les
Gets (100 metres from the chalets) can be
easily accessed via a draglift at La Turche or
the brand new 5-man Perriere chairlift.
The chalet is arranged over 3 well-appointed
and spacious floors. On the first floor the
large open plan lounge/dining area is equipped
with open fire, comfortable seating and has
balconies on either side accessible through
sliding doors.
The fully equipped kitchen area is separated by
an angled breakfast bar. It has all the mod
cons of a British home (microwave, kettle,
toaster…) and other useful appliances
such as raclette and fondue sets.
The lower floor has two bedrooms, both with 2
single beds and an en-suite bathroom each.
There is a further room with a bed settee which
converts into two single beds and this can also
be used as a playroom as there is satellite TV,
DVD player (with collection of DVDs) and games.
This room has double doors which open onto a
large decked garden terrace. The
sauna with separate shower room is also
on this floor.
The second level has two bedrooms, each with a
double bed and en-suite bathrooms (one with
shower, the other one with Jacuzzi bath and
separate shower). Balconies have uninterrupted
views across to Mont Chéry and over the
village.
A utility room with washing machine, tumble
dryer, iron and ironing board is also
available. The outside ground floor balcony has
a large ski locker with security code lock and
seating. There is covered car parking area.
For your comfort, the chalet is strictly
non-smoking.
Bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning
(excl kitchen area and washing up) are
included. Refundable breakage deposit
£500 (payable by UK cheque prior to
departure). Local tourist tax c
€0.90/pers/day payable locally.
The free ski bus stops close to the
chalet (runs from 08.15 (08.45 before
08/02) until 18.30). It takes you to the
village centre and ‘Les Ecoles’
above the main ’Chavannes’ lift.
