Situated in the pretty La Turche area of Les
Gets, with superb unobstructed views towards
the Mont- Chèry, Chalet Pas de
Chèvre, was completed in January 2004 by
local craftsmen.
It is possible to ski back close to the
chalet (snow permitting) and the main ski area
of Les Gets (100 metres from the chalet) is
only a draglift away.
The chalet is arranged over 3 well appointed
and spacious floors. On the ground floor the
large lounge/dining area is equipped with a
French solid oak wood dining table sitting 12
comfortably, a wood burner, 3 sofas and Hi-Fi
system. There is a wide screen satellite TV and
DVD player in the downstairs playroom. It
boasts sunny balconies on either side,
accessible through sliding doors. The open plan
kitchen is fully equipped with all the
commodities you would expect at home (kettle,
toaster, coffee-maker, microwave, marble
worktops…).
There are 3 bedrooms on the lower ground floor,
all with exceptional views over Mont
Chéry. Bedroom 1 has a king sized double
bed and has an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has
two single beds and has an en-suite shower
room. Bedroom 3 has full sized bunk beds and an
en-suite bathroom. There is also a cot. Also on
this floor, there is a laundry room with
washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing
board and a boot drying area with plenty of
hanging space for ski clothes.
On the first floor, there are 2 further
bedrooms, both very generous in size, with
large windows and balconies, overlooking the
Mont Chéry. The first has a king sized
double bed and the second has 2 single beds,
which can be joined together to form a 6 foot
wide double bed. Also on this floor, there is a
bathroom with bath/shower and a separate WC
with washbasin.
For your comfort, the chalet is strictly non
smoking. The chalet is also fitted with a
personal safe.
There is a covered car parking
area, ski storage and a garden area with views
of Mont Chéry and two newly added wooden
terraces both of which receive significant
amounts of sun in sunny conditions.
Bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning are
included. Refundable breakage deposit
£500 (payable by UK cheque prior to
departure).
The free ski bus stops close to the
chalet (runs from 08.15 (08.45 before
08/02) until 18.30). It takes you to the
village centre and ‘Les Ecoles’
above the main ’Chavannes’ lift.
