Hotel Mercure
Hotel Mercure is located in a prime location at
the foot of the slopes in the sunny
‘Village’ area (1800m) overlooking
Les Deux Alpes resort (1 mile away). Le
‘Village’ is a resort in itself
with its numerous bars, restaurants,
cafés and shops. For extra convenience,
the free resort shuttle bus runs from next to
the hotel to the resort centre (from 08.00 to
20.00).
This modern hotel offers 100 bedrooms: the 36
twin/double bedrooms (19m2) are
north-facing and overlook the Oisans mountain
range; the 64 south-facing bedrooms
(28m2) with views over the Muzelle
mountain can accommodate up to 4 people (either
2 single beds or a double bed + a single bed
and a single sofa bed); a few have an extra
single bed (for children under 12), making them
ideal for families of 5.
All bedrooms
have an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and
separate wc, direct-dial telephone, individual
safe and satellite TV.
After a day of fun on the slopes, you may
choose to relax and unwind in the friendly
hotel bar ‘Les Ecrins’ with its
roaring open fire… and hot crepes! You
can also enjoy the use of the games room and
pool table (payable). The onsite restaurant
offers a variety of traditional and local menus
as well as themed buffets and Savoyard
specialities once a week and can organise
packed lunches at a supplement (on request the
day before). Within the shopping centre located
just underneath the hotel, hotel clients have
access to thesauna, steam room and Jacuzzi (all
payable). Please note this is independent of
the hotel.
A squash court, a bowling alley and a night
club are all within short walking distance.
Ski storage room, payable internet access at
the hotel, free indoor resort car park.
