Ski School and Kindergarten

Ski school
Ski school is an important part of most people's skiing holiday whether they are beginners or just wish to improve style and technique. All our resorts have extensive ski school facilities. The Ecole de Ski Français (ESF) is by far the largest and longest established. We can pre-book ski school at many resorts and we would particularly recommend that you do so especially at peak times in order to avoid possible disappointment. All the ski schools have English-speaking instructors.

Kindergarten
There are kindergarten facilities in each of the resorts featured. Resort kindergartens are independently operated and we have not inspected these facilities and are unable to pre-book or guarantee that the level of care provided will meet your requirements. Standards and services do however have to comply with local regulations. We can provide you with contact details of most kindergarten facilities in each resort.

Please note– the below prices are based on Half-Day Lessons plus stipulates the 6 half day cost (am, midday or pm). Full day, speciality, 3-5 day lessons may also be available. Ski lessons can be taken in most resorts morning and afternoon; snowboard is generally afternoon lessons.

To book, we will need to know your ski level (children – Ourson, Flocon, 1st star, 2nd star, 3rd star etc and adults – beginners, level 1, level 2, level 3) or snowboard level. Not sure of your ski or snowboard level? View here for explanation of ski school levels

We strongly advise you to pre-book your ski school at peak times such as Christmas, New Year, Feb half term and Easter as they are very busy and there isn’t a finite supply of instructors!

Prices are for the Ecole du Ski Francais (ESF school) unless otherwise stated.

Some lessons may only be available at certain times of the year, or in the afternoon only for instance. Not all 6 half day lessons are available all season, so please check the individual resort pages for further information.
