La Combe
Situated in a commanding position on the edge
of the village, the residence La
Combe in Aussois benefits from fantastic
views over the village and towards the
surrounding mountain peaks.
The centre of the village and its shops,
restaurants and bars is about a 10 minute walk
away from La Combe. The free shuttle bus which
links the resort and the ski lifts also stops
just outside La Combe.
Entirely renovated in 2005, La Combe is an
attractive complex formed of 4 large chalets
totally 110 apartments and set amongst a few
other smaller chalets in a recently built area
of Aussois. The residence has a reception (with
free wireless internet connection), a laundry
room (payable), free outdoor parking (or
covered parking €25/week, subject to
availability, state at time of booking) and ski
lockers.
The apartments' interiors have been tastefully
decorated to a good standard with Alpine-style
solid wood furnishings and floor space is more
generous than found in most alpine units.
From most apartment balconies at La Combe there
are stunning views of either the village centre
over the 'Snow-tubing' park or towards the
surrounding mountains (southeast).
All apartments at La Combe are fitted and
furnished to a very good standard of comfort
and convenience. They have: living area with
pull-out sofa bed (making up 2 single beds or a
double), bathroom with bath (although a few
with shower), separate wc, fully equipped
kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, fridge,
dishwasher, microwave-grill.
Most have a good size balcony
(5-10m2).
1 Bedroom Apartment sleeping 2-4
(30m2): bedroom with a double or 2
single beds.
2 Bedroom Apartment sleeping 5-6
(40m2): bedroom with a double bed,
bedroom with bunk beds.
2 Bedroom Split Level Apartment sleeping
6-8 (50/60m2): bedroom with a
double bed; fairly steep wooden stairs to the
first floor open mezzanine with double pull-out
bed, bedroom with sleeping 2 (may be a double
bed, bunks or 2 single beds) and extra shower
room with WC (sometimes separate).
Please note that some bedrooms may not have
exterior windows and have thick wooden sliding
doors leading into the lounge area.
Prices include: fully equipped
apartment. Pets welcome.
To pay locally: refundable deposit
