The traditional village of Les Carroz has a pleasant ‘lived-in’ feel and animated atmosphere. Les Carroz has been popular with French families since the mid 1930s and holds the ‘Famille Plus Montagne’ label for its superb children facilities. Non skiers have plenty to do - try an Air balloon flight, a night time luge’, dog sledding, indoor tennis, ice skating, snowshoe outings…

Situated 5 minutes from the town centre, the club offers a wide range of activities to children, during the day. Please note that the club works with both skiing schools. Skiing activities are payable to those schools and consequently are not included in the club price. The club has its own minibus, which takes the children to and from their skiing lessons.

Opening time: Mon-Fri 8.30am-6.30pm.

Tariffs: Full Day: €26.50 (including meal). Half day €13.50, 5 day pass (Mon-Fri):  €106.          

There are a limited number of places: 40 children.                                          

Good English is spoken by at least two members of the staff anytime.

Situated in the centre of the village, near to the cinema.

There is one member of the staff who speaks basic English. Please note that the number of children is limited (on average 37) for security reasons.

Opening Times: 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Tariffs: Babies under 18 months old: - Half-day is €18-€26; 6 half days is €100-€145 (meals can be included)

Children from 18 months old: - full day is €35; 6 days is €190 (meal included)

Half-day formula with or without lunch are also available (€17 to €26). 6 half-days costs (€95-€145). Lunch costs c €4.

By Road: Driving distance from Calais to Les Carroz 539 miles (approx 7hrs 30) from Calais, take A26 Motorway towards Reims and Troyes, then Dijon, Mâcon then ‘Autoroute Blanche’ Motorway ( A40 Mâcon – Cluses)  exit Cluses Centre (no 19), follow N205 road towards Sallanches. After 3 km follow signs to ‘Les Carroz d’Araches’ and turn left towards Les Carroz on the D6 road.

By Rail: Cluses 20km. Shuttle bus +33 450 98 07 81 or Taxi

Back from Flaine, the runs to Les Carroz are short but offer a wide variety of trails, including more difficult sections at the top of the red runs and some good off-piste.There is ample parking by the gondola departure. The ski school’s torch-lit descent is not to be missed – it starts off with fireworks and ends with vin chaud and live jazz in the square.

PRE-BOOK* your 6 Day Grand Massif Lift-Pass with PR

Children under 5 and seniors over 75 receive a FREE lift pass. Proof of age will be required for reduced price passes.

Please note that there is also a cheaper lift pass called Massif covering only Samoens, Morillon and Les Carroz although we cannot pre-book this.  Beginners are advised to buy this pass in resort (€159 for 6 days approx).

With a 6 day Grand Massif lift pass you also get to ski one day on the Portes du Soleil ski area (Les Gets, Morzine, Avoriaz, Chatel…) and one day in Courmayeur in Italy.
