Neige et Roc offers the
opportunity to sample French village life, with
the centre and its shops only a short walk
away. The free resort shuttle bus that takes
you to the Grand Massif Express (1.4km away)
stops right in front of the hotel.
Owners Françoise & Olivier Deffaugt
take pride in welcoming guests to their
charming family-run complex. The hotel and the
small residence with its 18 self-catering
studio apartments are beautifully arranged over
two chalets.
The hotel Neige et Roc has all the feel
of a traditional Alpine chalet with its exposed
timber and extensive use of bright pinewood.
Combining authentic style with excellent modern
comfort, Neige et Roc offers all the
ingredients for an enjoyable and relaxing stay:
refined traditional cuisine, comfortable rooms,
leisure area with indoor swimming pool,
sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, fitness room,
beauty treatments and massages, a games room
(table football, table tennis, pinball),
billiard room, cosy bar around open fire.
Wireless internet access at Reception and in
each room.
The 31 prettily decorated and well-appointed
bedrooms are spread over three floors, each
with a balcony offering views of the valley and
mountains. A choice of twins, doubles or
interconnecting rooms is available - all
en-suite.
The tastefully arranged studio apartments at
Hotel Neige et Roc sleep 2-4 in
22-28m2. Studios sleeping 2 have a
double bed, Studios sleeping 3-4 have 2 single
beds and a double pull-out bed. All studios
have a double bed or 2 single beds, an extra
sofa bed and a small kitchenette area with
fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, 2-ring
electric hob and kettle, a bathroom with
bath/wc and a balcony. A studio with an extra
en-suite bedroom is also available (balcony in
each room).
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are supplied
and the apartment is cleaned every day
(excludes kitchen area). Breakfast and evening
meals can also be taken at the hotel for a
supplement.
The restaurant at Hotel Neige et Roc serves a
refined traditional Savoyard cuisine with a
daily-changing menu (without choice on
half-board basis) and a copious buffet
breakfast. One evening a week there is a
traditional local speciality evening (fondue,
raclette, tartiflette...) with live music.
Available for clients of both the hotel and the
apartments: satellite TV in each room,
telephone line, leisure area, ski room, washing
machine (c €5) and tumble dryer.
Baby-sitting can be arranged on request. There
is plenty of parking in front of the hotel and
three garages (c€15/day - on request).
Local tourist tax €0.60/pers/day (free for
under 12's), gourmet New Year’s Eve
dinner included in the price for hotel guests
(€100/pers for self-catering guests,
payable locally). €60 cleaning deposit for
studios to cover kitchenette. Pets welcome
€15/day.
