Every Thursday morning in Saint-Gervais there is a
superb genuine market.
Among Saint Gervais’ attractions are thermal
baths with spa treatments, a cinema, casino, and many
outdoor activities available such as an Olympic
skating rink or unforgettable walks and rambles with
over 180km of marked paths and trails, including a
Baroque footpath. There is also a great
children’s club (4-13yrs olds) offering plenty
of games and activities and you can visit a
traditional old farmhouse with a trip to the
Ecomuseum. Finally, an excursion up the mountain on
the Mont-Blanc Tramway is not to be missed.

The world
capital of mountaineering is only a short drive away.
Very cosmopolitan it boasts first-rate leisure
facilities and a huge range of shops and restaurants.

L’Aiguille du Midi is reached by cable car from
Chamonix. The views from Europe’s highest cable
car station (3842m)are literally breathtaking. From
there you can walk back to the famous ‘Mer de
Glace’ with ease and catch Montenvers train
back to town.

Les Thermes de Saint Gervais (Spa) – (Le
Fayet), hydrotherapy and beauty treatments, medical
spa treatments. The beauty spa is open every day,
Mon-Sat, from 08.30 to 12.00 and 14.00-19.00 and on

Thursday at 14.30.
The St Gervais spa is rated the 2nd best medical spa
in France for both dermatological and respiratory
tract complaints.
