Brides-les-Bains has a number of bars and restaurants as well as two nightclubs and the only casino of the Three Valleys, all with prices well below those of Meribel and Courchevel. For non-skiers or après-ski relaxation it is possible to relax in the brand new large spa centre which offers traditional oriental baths, aromatics steam rooms and saunas.

Le Club Saturnin in Meribel takes care of children from 18 months to 8 year old. They can be introduced to skiing from the age of 3. Les P’tits Loups kindergarten welcomes 3 to 5 year olds in the centre of Meribel. They have their own ski area with their own ski lift and some inflatable figurines. The Meribel ESF ski school meeting point and kindertgarten are right by the Olympe gondola (from Brides-les-Bains) arrival point at La Chaudanne.

The Olympe gondola lift connects Brides-les-Bains to the foot of the main slopes at Meribel and then allows access directly to the heart of the famous 3 Vallees ski area.  The gondola runs from 08.30 to 17.00 (17.30 from February to the end of the season) everyday and the ride is 25 minutes to Meribel.

The Meribel & 3 Vallees lift passes include use of the Olympe gondola.

Ski Schools

There are a number of Ski Schools in Meribel including Generation Ski School Meribel, Snow Systems, Sensations 3 Vallees Ski Instructors & Mountain Guides. Please however ensure your lessons start at La Chaudanne.
