Restaurants in Valloire will suit all tastes and
budgets, ranging from the much praised ‘Le
Gastilleur’, to the
cosy Crêperie.
‘La Petite Marmite’, with its 6 day
regional take-away meal formula, will suit those who
want to eat in. There is a good selection of
bars, discos, shops, ice rink, bowling and fitness
centre. A variety of activities is on offer in
Valloire, including climbing, horse riding archery
and tennis, and two cable cars making the mountains
even more accessible. The children’s club
“Les Aiglons”
will entertain children with games, activities, and
village discovery visits. Alternatively, try Alpine
golf at the 18 hole
course, or be Tarzan for a day in the Adventure Park.
At the foot of the famous Galibier Pass, Valloire is
accessed via the motorway exit and TGV station at St
Michel de Maurienne (17km
and 4 hrs from Paris by train).
