Set amongst a few other similar chalets, the
south-facing Chalet La Marmotte is situated in
the quiet 'Vers le Pont' hamlet, about 1 km
from the centre of Morillon Village. Road
access is very easy as there is no slope to
climb.
This traditional, timber-built chalet offers
comfortable accommodation of a very good
standard. Built in typical Savoyard style, La
Marmotte's beamed ceilings, pine panelling
throughout and open fire create an inviting
ambience in which to relax.
Lovely views towards the Giffre Valley and
Morillon village can be enjoyed from the
balconies on both sides of the property.
The cosy interior is well furnished and
immaculately presented. The lounge/dining area
is centred around the open fire and the kitchen
area is particularly impressive - ideal to
prepare that delicious meal everyone is craving
after a day of skiing!
The first bedroom is on the ground floor and
has a bunk bed with double below and single
above. Also a bathroom with shower and a
separate wc.
Upstairs are the other three bedrooms, two
doubles (1 with King size bed), and one with a
bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower and two
washbasins and there is a separate wc. On the
huge lower ground floor, you can even enjoy a
game of table tennis, darts or that typically
French table football. There is an undercover
parking space and further parking for two cars
at the front of the chalet.
The free resort ski shuttle bus departs 300m
away.
Interior ski locker.
Wood for open fire is provided. Bed linen can
be hired €8/single bed, €14/double
bed. Towel set €6/pers. End of stay
cleaning on request €50. Local tourist tax
is included in the price. Refundable deposit
€400.
