“Just to say a
big thanks to Peak Retreats for the organisation of
our weeks skiing in Termignon, thoroughly enjoyed the
week. Apartments were great maybe need more sitting
accommodation but very good quality. Tunnel crossing
excellent, definitely converted from ferries now.
Certainly will recommend you to friends as if
prepared to drive then it is an extremely good value
holiday”.

“We were
extremely impressed with Peak Retreats! I believe
this was the first year the apartments have dealt
with PR; at least that is what the apartment’s
reception lady said. She also said they were
happy to be dealing with PR, and she hoped PR were
equally happy with Les Balcons de Vanoise. Nice
to hear! We have already recommended PR to
several fellow ski travellers we met along the
way. Hopefully we will be dealing with you
again in 2010 & beyond. Thanks so
much!”

“We had a great
skiing holiday at Termignon! All of us enjoyed it
immensely, got reasonably good at skiing, and came
back with no broken bones. As a small village resort,
it is well worth it. Our instructor, Christian, was
ace also!”

“Restaurants
although few and far between were
good…”

“The
North-facing slopes are a bonus for late skiing, and
the tree-lined pistes available are also of benefit
for late skiing & shelter from windy
conditions. Val Cenis and Bonneval are only
minutes away by car when required, too. It is also
easy & useful to drive to Val Cenis to save just
the few minutes of 'aller/retour' chair time, when
the lower slope spring conditions are warming
up”

“We were
extremely impressed with Peak Retreats! The
resort (Termignon) itself is small and basic, but
that is obvious from the PR website and other
internet information, & is also part of its
charm. We found the people friendly and
helpful, especially Marine’s Bar, and the
restaurants/pizzas around Termignon were good value.
We chose a lower profile ski trip this year, due to
plunging pound/Euro and the fact that there were only
two of us & we’re not so young anymore so
it was time to forsake the vastness of the 3 Vallees
for somewhere more compact. In fact, we were
delighted with the pistes, especially the reds, and
the snow was great! Also, our experience served
us well, choosing North-facing slopes in late March,
a preference which paid-off”.
