Past client comments on ‘Les Chalets du Galibier’ in VALLOIRE (Maurienne Valley)

“We were very well looked after this time at Les Chalets du Galibier in Valloire….Everything was exactly as promised…”

Mr G, Hook – Valloire, Les Chalets du Galibier, 5th April 2008

“We booked with you last year and had a wonderful holiday in Valloire”

Mrs K, Kent – Valloire, Les Chalets du Galibier, 10th February 2007

“Thank to Peak Retreats for organizing a fantastic holiday.”

Mr. C, London – Valloire, Les Chalets du Galibier, 1st April 2006

“Our holiday was fantastic from the start everything so simple – checking in for ferry, finding the accommodation when arriving in resort, checking into our accommodation, obtaining our pre-booked ski hire, ski lessons and lift passes. Our apartment in Les Chalets du Galibier was of first class standard and so were the facilities. Underground heated parking was excellent at very little extra cost (nice to know the car was safe for the return journey). Staff were friendly and helpful especially with our limited French. The apartments couldn’t have been better situated, right across the road from a poma lift and our ski school meeting point, with a free ski bus service into the village and to the nursery slopes every 15 minutes all day long. The resort suited us perfectly as a family with two teenage beginners and one intermediate and one advanced adult. After ski school in the morning we were able to ski as a family in the afternoon. Although the resort hadn’t had any snow for nearly 2 weeks when we left, the pistes were still in good condition – obviously showing how the resort is cared for. Après ski ’bum sledging/boarding’ is a must for kids and adult alike – it was highly entertaining in the flood lit area in the village (at only 3 euros a board cheap fun too!!).Across the road from the apartments is a quaint little Pizza ‘shed’ that serves homemade pizza to order, which were excellent and at a very reasonable cost with helpful staff. The children thoroughly enjoyed their first experience of skiing and we will definitely return at some point in the future.

Ms. T, Essex – Valloire, Les Chalets du Galibier, 11th February 2006

“They were located next to a lift and skiing back to the door followed by a swim made for a perfect holiday.”

Past client comments on VALLOIRE (Maurienne Valley)

“… I  was very impressed with Valloire, nice town with a very good ski area that was not that busy, all the locals were very friendly and the lift operators said 'good morning' each day. The restaurants at the top of the 2 gondolas got busy every lunch time, but the other mountain snack bars and the restaurants in the town were not too busy”.

Mr G, Bedfordshire – Valloire, 9th February 2008

“… The height of the ski area was also a huge advantage for late skiing in hot sunshine”

Mr C, Salisbury – Valloire, 7th April 2007

“… The resort was fantastic as was the skiing. I will be recommending Peak Retreats to my friends”

Mr H, Caerphilly – Valloire, 22nd December 2007

“We all had a lovely time in Valloire. It is a beautiful village with very nice people”

Mr T, Alicante – Valloire, 29th December 2007

“Fab holiday yet again Thank you Peak Retreats…..On the resort; absolutely fantastic that you could ski the whole area and not have to take your skis of once to use the Telecabine and eggs….We all had a fantastic time and would go back again tomorrow!!”
