Past client comments on ‘Le Morillon’ in MORILLON (Grand Massif)

“The hotel was very friendly and convenient…”

Mrs H. Hotel le Morillon, Morillon Village 3rd January 2011

“Hotel Le Morillon exceeded our expectations and the food was wonderful.  Madame very helpful when our taxi did not arrive early on final morning - got up at 6.15 am to assist us and made us coffee while we waited.  Waiter Sebastian particularly excellent”.

MrsB. Hotel le Morillon, Morillon 13th February 2010

“Hotel very close to lifts. Hotel food great but children’s menu limited”.

MrD. Hotel le Morillon, Morillon 18th January 2010

“The food at Le Morillon Hotel was outstanding and staff very friendly considering this was rated a 3 star hotel. We would certainly stay there again, however book a superior room”.

MrsB. Hotel le Morillon, Morillon 19th December 2009

“Friendliness of staff and quality of food were outstanding”.

Mr L, Ayrshire – Morillon, le Morillon, 5th April 2009

“I thought Hotel Le Morillon was excellent: the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating; the location was only a 5-minute walk from the Morillon gondola; and the food (especially the dinner) was superb.  Overall, I think it's probably the best ski hotel I've stayed in”.

Mr M, West Midlands – Morillon, Hotel le Morillon, 2nd April 2009

“We had an excellent time and would particularly like to highlight the hotel which we feel was superb. Two stars does not do it justice. The food was exceptional and the staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We also enjoyed the additional facilities at the hotel -swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were just what was needed after a day's skiing. The hotel itself was lovely - cosy and comfortable and not overly modernised. It has a welcoming bar/sitting area with a log fire blazing each evening. The staff were all helpful and very willing to accommodate one of our group who had specific dietary requirements. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone”.

Mr G, East Sussex – Morillon Hotel, le Morillon, 28th March 2009

“The staff were very helpful & understanding in booking our party of eight people. The hotel had very good facilities, notably the pool, sauna & steam room. The food was very well presented and cooked to an equally high standard”.

Mr S, Derbyshire – Morillon Hotel, le Morillon, 26th March 2009

“An excellent hotel, brilliant venue and great skiing”

Mr E, Bury St Edmunds – Morillon, Hotel Le Morillon, 9th February 2008

“Just thought I would send you a quick email to thank you all for a wonderful holiday in Morillon. The whole package was first class, from the tunnel crossing to the overnight stay, and the hotel Le Morillon was brilliant, the food and service was second to none. The ski lessons were great and we all learnt a lot in a week. I cannot speak highly enough of your service – It was exactly as you stated. Thank you all again…Really looking forward to next year!

Mr R, Dorset – Morillon, Hotel Le Morillon, 17th February 2007

“I would like to thank you for a marvellous holiday at Morillon. Driving down to this area was easy and the tunnel crossing a joy, once we found out we had flexible tickets! The Hotel Le Morillon was exceptional, the new spa was beautifully done, the food was of a high standard, the wine exceptionally priced and the staff very friendly. Our family room was perfect, a balcony with views and warm and clean. The hotel staff were superb. I would recommend this hotel to any discerning skier and what value for money! Morillon was charming, not overrun by us Brits and Pascal sports in the village were very helpful for ski hire. Our children had an absolute ball and luckily the snow held out on the north facing slopes. Can’t wait to return to the Massif area again. Thank you!”

Mr. C, Worcester – Morillon, Hotel Le Morillon, 03rd February 2007

“We had a wonderful time”

Mrs C, Dublin – Morillon, Hotel Le Morillon, 30th December 2006

“We all had a fantastic time. The hotel clean and basic was so friendly, the food superb. The staff were so helpful. So a big thank you and perhaps see you next season.”

Mrs. B, Northampton - Morillon, Hotel Le Morillon, 31st December 2005

“Thank you for your helping arranging my trip to the Hotel Le Morillon over Christmas. The hotel was ideal, super position and importantly we found the staff most accommodating in the vegetarian requirements of my wife! The food was very good, excellent service and the wine list offered a sufficient choice of quality wines at a very fair price. We were blessed of course with excellent skiing conditions and being able to ski back to the hotel was great. I reckon this village is in an ideal position for access to the Grand Massif ski area. It would be too quiet, perhaps, for the younger partygoers but for us golden oldies, a youthful 50, just fine! Another good choice by your company”

Mr. S, Bristol – Morillon, Hotel Le Morillon, 22nd December 2005

“We have now returned from our holiday and enjoyed it very much”

Mr S. Kent – Sevenoaks, Hotel le Morillon, March 2005

Past client comments on MORILLON (Grand Massif)

“Fantastic ski area. Very quiet on the slopes and lifts”.

MrD. Hotel le Morillon, Morillon 18th January 2010

“Really enjoyed our first ski holiday with the children to Morillon. It was a perfect beginner resort and very friendly.  Will definitely book again”.

Mrs K. Hotel le Morillon, Morillon 27th February 2010

“… The snow grooming is very efficient, the nursery area is second to none and there are others within easy access”.

Mr H, West Midlands – Morillon, 4th April 2009

“…The resort really suited our mixed-ability group (2 beginners and 2 more experienced skiers) with plenty of easy blue pistes locally (above Morillon and Les Carroz) and more testing runs scattered throughout the Grand Massif. The beginners had 6 morning lessons with the ESF (booked through Peak Retreats) and found these invaluable. The instructors spoke adequate English and the group was very small (5 people). For the last 2 days the 2 beginners had an instructor to themselves as they had progressed faster than the rest of the group (this may only have happened because we took our holiday toward the end of the season and outside school holidays)!”

Mr M, Clifton – Morillon, 21st March 2009

“… The area has great scope for all levels of skier”.

Mr J, Notts – Morillon, 14th March 2009

“We really enjoyed our and will go again next year, because it's such a great place for family ski-ing”.

Mrs R, Surrey – Morillon, 14th Feb 2009

“We travelled with Peak Retreats last week to Morillon and have to say we had an excellent time. Also v. impressed with Morillon/Samoens as a family/mixed ability resort: one of the best we have been to.”

Mr T, Kent – Morillon 1100, 5th April 2008
