“We really enjoyed our holiday. The main reason for picking Peak Retreats was that you do not charge supplements for not filling the accommodation to capacity. As a couple we were finding it quite hard to find nice accommodation (with a double bed!) without being charged hundreds of pounds extra for only being 2 people. We were very happy with the accommodation we got on our holiday and the apartment was very well equipped”.

Mrs W, London - Les Carroz, Les Fermes du Soleil, 24th January 2009

“The apartment was lovely and looked as it did in the photos on the website”.

“Just to say thanks very much for all these last minute emails tips - we enjoyed an excellent holiday in Samoens! Flexi plus a definite bonus”.

Mrs L, Stroud – Les Fermes de Samoens, Samoens, 3rd April 2010

“We had a fabulous time at Reine Des Pres; Apartment very spacious and comfortable (once one had learned how to operate the various high-tech appliances!). The accommodation is well situated and the staff were helpful, even when we arrived very late. The only criticism is rather a lack of residents' parking spaces, unless paying for the garage”.

Mrs T, Warnham – La Reine des Pres, Samoens, 27th March 2010

“Just a quick note to thank you for recommending Neige et Roc for our short ski break.  The hotel couldn't be faulted - we have a spacious room, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and the food was superb.  Added to which there had been a fresh dump of snow earlier in the week and we had three days of blue sunny skies to enjoy it”.

Mrs P Twickenham – Samoens, Neige et Roc, 11th March 2009

“Hotel Neige et Roc was superb. The accommodation was of a high standard and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was easy to find using the directions given by Peak Retreats.  Overall we would say that that Peak Retreats were very good at responding to any of our questions on the resort/accommodation etc bearing in mind that we had not been skiing before”.

Mrs B Hampshire – Samoens, Neige et Roc, 14th February 2009

“The young lady on reception was extremely cheerful and friendly and very helpful”.

Mrs B, South Yorkshire – Samoens, Les Fermes de Samoens, 14th February 2009

“Les Hauts des Pleignes was a lovely apartment, it felt like home from home”.

Mrs F, West Sussex – Samoens, Hauts des Pleignes, 26th January 2009

“We loved the flat. Great to be able to control the temperature in each room. Lovely and warm. Shop below a great asset”.

Mrs B, Nottingham – Samoens Villa Monette, A14 10th January 2009

“La Renardiere was perfect for our needs. The ski bus stops at the end of the lane and the town is only a stroll away. The apartment is roomy and well-equipped. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The bar area is cosy with a great ambience and serves fantastc vin chaud!! We would definitely recommend, and hopefully will be returning there ourselves”.

Mrs J, Denbigh – Samoens, La Renardiere, 27th December 2009

“Looking at booking again for end 2009 or Easter 2010!  Thank you so much, we loved it!

Mrs H, Derbyshire – Samoens, Les Fermes de Samoens, 27th December 2008

“Have just returned from our wonderful holiday & we absolutely loved the accommodation. La Maison Fifine is truly gorgeous and most comfortable for a party of 14. And perfect for walking into Samoens.  In fact, I’m not sure your description does it justice. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Samoens. We are seriously considering returning at a similar time next year”

Mrs I, South Wales – Samoens, Maison de Fifine, 29th March 2008

“Just got back from a brilliant week in Samoens – thanks to Peak Retreats – everything worked perfectly from the word go and the standards delivered the best we’ve experienced. At the ski hire shop our kit was ready and named, we were taken to the front of the queue and everything fit – that’s never happened before. The Neige et Roc was as per the brochure both our rooms featured and the descriptions spot-on – we have already told friends about your company. The transfer was also perfect. Thanks for everything”

Mr E, Preston – Samoens, Neige et Roc, 16th February 2008

“Just wanted to let you know what a fantastic week we have just had in Samoens. We stayed at the Neige et Roc in their self-catering studios. The rooms were lovely and everything at the hotel was great. The resort is absolutely perfect and the skiing was just right for our ability. The reservations for the ski hire and the lift passes worked out very efficiently, and we have been extremely pleased with all the help we have received from you prior to the holiday. We won’t hesitate to use your services again and will obviously be recommending you to others. Thanks very much”

“A belated thanks to Peak Retreats. Le Penoutlay was wonderful as was Sixt Fer A Cheval. Had some beautiful weather and fab skiing. Great to have spent time in Morillon and seen the support for Antoine Deneriaz. Will definitely use Peak Retreats again.”

“The hotel Ours Blanc provided exceptional service and were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The restaurant manager, Seb in particular was fantastic.  I would recommend this hotel to anyone”.

Mrs H, Sheffield – Hotel Ours Blanc, Les Gets, 27th December 2008

“Just to say we were delighted with the hotel, everything was perfect, very friendly staff, recently refurbished hotel, lovely food”

Mrs T, Fife – Hotel Ours Blanc, Les Gets, 19th March 2008

“We had an excellent holiday at L’Ours Blanc and will provisionally book another at the same hotel next year. Both my wife and I were very impressed with the staff and family who looked after us, the accommodation, catering, location of the hotel not least the view from #17. The location was particularly pleasant as it is away from the centre of the village but close enough for access to lifts etc. The snow, of course, as well as the wall to wall blue sky perfected the job! Thanks for a wonderful holiday (probably the best I have ever had!) We will be watching the Peak Retreats website for future holidays”

“Thank you to the Peak Retreats team for helping me to organise a brilliant holiday in Chamonix last week. La Ginabelle accommodation was excellently situated for easy access to buses, the train and Chamonix centre so catered for the diverse needs of all age groups and activities in our family. I would especially recommend the train ride up to Vallorcine and access to Tour skiing area via the new lift system there. The train ride is scenic; you don’t have to walk more than 50m at either end in ski boots and the train was not overcrowded like the buses are from Le Tour side.

We were especially grateful for the flexiplus option on Good Friday having driven all the way from Cumbria to find that there was at least a 3 hours wait to get the train – but not for flexiplus!

This is at least out fourth holiday booked through Peak Retreats and it is the perfect combination of organisation combined with local knowledge to give an independent but supported feel to holidaying. Thanks”

“I have stated that the resort was excellent from our point of view, it is very quiet and peaceful, which is not what other people may want”.

“Really good holiday, want to go back again”

Mrs M. Leics – Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, Le Village, 19th December 2008

“Just felt I had to tell you that we have just returned from a lovely skiing trip booked through your company.

We went to Notre Dame de Bellecombe and stayed in Le Village apartments. From my first call to your team the service was friendly, informative and very helpful - it is great that many of them have visited the resorts.

The village was as friendly as your brochure said and the skiing very convenient and extensive now that the new lift connects it to the Espace Diamant. We would have no hesitation in booking with you again or recommending your company to others. Once again THANKYOU!”

Mrs M. Northamptonshire – Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, Le Village, 8th March 2008

“My wife Mary and I stayed with you in room 8 for one week from the 29th February. We would just like to thank you and your staff for being so welcoming and making our visit a very pleasant stay. We would also like to thank Michael for his efforts in translation. We thought your hotel had a wonderful situation, was well maintained and the food was excellent. Once again thank you”

“A fantastic apartment and the location is amazing. The flexi plus Eurotunnel is excellent and one of the reasons we always book with Peak Retreats”.

Mrs P, Cornwall – Morillon 1100, Le Buet, 11th April 2009

“Friendliness of staff and quality of food were outstanding”.

Mr L, Ayrshire – Morillon, le Morillon, 5th April 2009

“Morillon is a very friendly and easy to use resort. The village is excellent for families and beginners and was quiet when we went. The snow grooming is very efficient, the nursery area is second to none and there are others within easy access”.

Mr H, West Midlands – Morillon, Le Buet, 4th April 2009

“I thought Hotel Le Morillon was excellent: the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating; the location was only a 5-minute walk from the Morillon gondola; and the food (especially the dinner) was superb.  Overall, I think it's probably the best ski hotel I've stayed in”.

Mr M, West Midlands – Morillon, Hotel le Morillon, 2nd April 2009

“We had an excellent time and would particularly like to highlight the hotel which we feel was superb. Two stars does not do it justice. The food was exceptional and the staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We also enjoyed the additional facilities at the hotel -swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were just what was needed after a day's skiing. The hotel itself was lovely - cosy and comfortable and not overly modernised. It has a welcoming bar/sitting area with a log fire blazing each evening. The staff were all helpful and very willing to accommodate one of our group who had specific dietary requirements. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone”.

Mr G, East Sussex – Morillon Hotel, le Morillon, 28th March 2009

“The staff were very helpful & understanding in booking our party of eight people. The hotel had very good facilities, notably the pool, sauna & steam room. The food was very well presented and cooked to an equally high standard”.

Mr S, Derbyshire – Morillon Hotel, le Morillon, 26th March 2009

“I was very impressed with the advice and information provided by Peak Retreats both over the phone (prior to booking) and by post (prior to departure). The staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. We found the accommodation (Refuge de l'Alpage) and resort (Morillon 1100) to be exactly as described and as we had hoped - comfortable, quiet and with easy access to amenities and the slopes. The resort really suited our mixed-ability group (2 beginners and 2 more experienced skiers) with plenty of easy blue pistes locally (above Morillon and Les Carroz) and more testing runs scattered throughout the Grand Massif. The beginners had 6 morning lessons with the ESF (booked through Peak Retreats) and found these invaluable. The instructors spoke adequate English and the group was very small (5 people). For the last 2 days the 2 beginners had an instructor to themselves as they had progressed faster than the rest of the group (this may only have happened because we took our holiday toward the end of the season and outside school holidays)! Booking the lessons, ski passes and equipment hire in advance saved a lot of time (and worry) when we arrived and is a really useful service for Peak Retreats to offer. Overall I thought Peak Retreats provided a professional and high quality service. I will definitely use them again and thoroughly recommend them!”

Mr M, Clifton – Morillon 1100, Refuge de l’Alpage C6, 21st March 2009

“This is our second visit to Le Buet, Morillon 1100 and it did not disappoint. We will be booking again for 2010. Same accommodation - same resort. We were blessed with excellent weather and conditions for our weeks stay. The location of Le Buet is superb - ski in and ski out. The area has great scope for all levels of skier.   Peak Retreats make the trip very straight forward with great service and instructions. A hassle free experience from the initial booking enquiry to receiving the trip pack. Many thanks Peak Retreats, well done.  I look forward to dealing with you again in the future”.

Mr J, Notts – Morillon 1100, Le Buet, 14th March 2009

“Really a perfect holiday very well organised with excellent communications and help from Peak Retreats. Accommodation was lovely...well done!”

Mrs M, Cambridge - Refuge de L'Alpage B1, Morillon 1100, 11th March 09

“Just returned from a week at Le Buet apartments in Morillon, probably the best winter holiday I've taken in the last 10 years! Perfect weather & conditions and a superb apartment to come back to. I've not booked with Peak Retreats previously but you can be assured of my ongoing business. Your staff are knowledgeable & friendly, your reviews of the resort & accommodation are honest and your rates are very competitive, especially with the inclusive Eurotunnel ticket. Very well done on providing a top class service, I look forward to booking with you again for next year (and maybe even November if I can convince my wife!!). Le Buet apartments - excellent overall, superb location and plenty of space. The resort we all thought was great for our needs as we tend to stay in and cater for ourselves. The supermarket wasn't too far away although a convenience store in the resort would have been good.  I've been on loads of trips to Europe, Canada and America and can honestly say that this trip has trumped the lot. The weather had a lot to do with it. Loads of snow and bluebird days but the high level of service provided by Peak Retreats, the excellent 'holiday pack,' ticketless travel vouchers, great location of the accommodation and superb value for money will ensure that you'll get our business again and that of our friends”.

Mr L, Shropshire – Morillon, Le Buet, 7th March 2009

“We really enjoyed our and will go again next year, because it's such a great place for family ski-ing”.

Mrs R, Surrey – Morillon 1100, Jardin Alpin, 14th Feb 2009

“I just wanted to say how pleased we were with our recent holiday to Morillon.  We were very impressed with the accommodation - Le Buet - which was great value for money being spacious and so close to the slopes.  Our journey was made particularly easier by the inclusion of the Eurotunnel Flexipass ticket which meant there were no worries about getting to Calais on time.  Thank you too for laying on some excellent snow!!!!!!!”

Mrs L. Eastleigh, Hampshire – Morillon 1100, Le Buet, 27th December 2008

“We travelled with Peak Retreats last week to Morillon and have to say we had an excellent time. This is the second time this winter I have used Peak Retreats and again I found the service to be top class. Documentation was v straightforward and the accommodation (La Marmotte) was excellent value for money. Also v. impressed with Morillon/Samoens as a family/mixed ability resort: one of the best we have been to.”

Mr T, Kent – Morillon, Chalet La Marmotte, 5th April 2008

“Just got back from Morillon and had an awesome time. Le Buet residences continue to be of great value and the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. The ski school in Morillon were also very professional, accommodating and friendly (very different to some of the larger French resorts). Morillon is an excellent family resort with great skiing for all abilities and very chilled out après ski (if in fact you can manage any!)”

Mr D, Leicestershire – Morillon 1100, Le Buet, 29th March 2008

“To all at Peak Retreats we would just like to say what a fantastic week we had in chalet Les Marmottes in Morillon….would recommend the chalet and the village to anyone…short walk to lifts…good snow…about 18 inches on last 2 days!! And nice people all around …a good quiet, laid-back place…10 out of 10 for the chalet!! Your service as a company was great too…makes a difference to your holiday when you feel like everything has been taken care of…cheers from the 9 of us… (brilliant place for the kids) cheers!!!”

Mr E, Keswick – Morillon, Chalet Les Marmottes, 15th March 2008

“I am not normally one to put pen to paper or email following a holiday but I have to make an exception with the holiday experience we recently had at Morillon 1100 – Le Buet.

May I offer my thanks to you and your staff for the complete package you supply – booking service, travel, accommodation and location. This was our first time in using your company but it certainly won’t be the last. I look forward to booking for next year. I will be singing your praises to colleagues and friends interested in skiing and advising them to look away from the high street agencies”

Mr J, Nottingham – Morillon 1100, Le Buet, 15th March 2008

“Holiday in Morillon brilliant again.  Best wishes and thanks again for a great ski holiday”

Mrs M, London – Morillon 1100, Le Jardin Alpin, 16th February 2008

“We came back from our week stay at the Refuge de l’Alpage, Morillon 1100 last Sunday. It was our first ski trip with the kids and thanks to you guys it was a massive success. The very family friendly resort of Morillon 1100 was perfect, the ski shop efficient and the mini-market well stocked, the apartment was comfortable, warm and cosy and enough space for2 families of 4. ………The organisation and paperwork were superb and everything from the tunnel to ski school went to plan – so thanks! We met other families who were either with you or had booked with you in the past and without exception the comments were very complimentary. …..The pistes were in good nick and the skiing was great – Morillon 1100 offered us the convenience of close by runs as well as giving us access to Samoens and Les Carroz. The restaurant cafes in Morillon 1100 and above were very efficient and friendly. Anyway thanks to Peak Retreats for making the holiday a success – I will have no hesitation in recommending you to other people”

“Just wanted to say thanks for an excellent holiday. Can we book the same room for next Easter???”
Mr W, East Grinstead – Les Houches, Les Hauts de Chavants, 3rd April 2010

“Given the value for money of the holiday and never having driven to the Alps before I was a little worried about having booked through Peak Retreats.  I needn't have worried. The journey was as smooth as it could have been and far more relaxing than flying with all the security and waiting about in airports etc. The accommodation was fantastic.  Very well equipped, very comfortable, right on the slopes, a minute's ski from the main gondola, and with very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone in the resort was friendly and welcoming. We had a thoroughly good holiday. Thank you”.

Miss G, Stratford-upon Avon– Les Houches, Les Hauts du Chavants, 4th April 2009

“The manager at the Hameau de Pierre Blanche was a very friendly lady made us feel very welcome the pool is excellent and the new chalets very nice it is a nice quiet family location”.
