New Year - from 5.30pm come and hear the Batucada drummers make their way through the resort. At 6.30pm the ESF ski instructors invite you to see their traditional torchlit descent at Pleney stadium from the foot of the slopes. A grand fireworks display provides a fitting end the evening.

During White Week (Semaine Blanche) Morzine offers original ways to enjoy the snow beyond the groomed slopes...The programme of events is wide-ranging: everything from back-country snow and off-piste for beginners, snowshoe walks into the wintry ecosystem's heart, an introduction to the work of the mountain safety teams, snow's composite parts, avalanche awareness and ARVA transmitter training.

February 1st – February 5th 2010

Morzine Live Après-ski - when the days start getting longer, to celebrate the arrival of spring Morzine’s streets will be really rocking during the ‘après-ski’. ‘Morzine Live Apres-ski’ is a series of free rock concerts in and outside the village’s bars, a ‘best of the best’ revival, which promises to be laid-back and great fun.

In the Dereches, from 3pm, and the "Coinchon" game for adults: a traditional Savoyard game that is played on Easter Monday, and provides the local villagers with an excuse to get together after the harsh winter months.

Join the tourist office from 4pm to 6pm for the Weekly welcome drinks. Find out about upcoming events and try the green Chartreuse and hot chocolate! There is also a delicious cheese to try from the Alpage diary.

Cheesemaker Nicolas invites you to his dairy in Morzine every Wednesday and Thursday at 9am to see the all the stages of cheesemaking. Meet at the Alpage dairy on the Thonon road near the tourist office.
