DERBY DU MONT DE LA GUERRE - This sport
event created by Ski Club of
Champagny, became in four editions one of
the most important event for all sort of
riders (ski, snowboard,
télémark, monoski...)
Target:
downhill one of the longest ant most beautiful
slopes of the skiing area of la Plagne: "le
Mont de la Guerre" . Dénivelé:
1200 m; length: 6 km! The run is not
prepared but secured; everyone choose its
itinerary.
Open to all riders (from the age of 16)

THE GORZDERETTE - The
Nordic combined (Nordic skiing
+ archery and tobogganing), the
big air - freestyle and
the
ice climbing contest …
Expert climbers (François Damilano,
Samuel Anthamaten, Daniel Dulac, Anthony
Lamiche…) were up against mountain
lovers: the tournament rewarded the best
all-rounders.

Ice-climbing Championship - 1st French
Ice-climbing Championship.
Ice-climbing associates the alpinism
techniques and the ones of sport climbing to
offer a great and uncommon exhibition.
The event is qualified as "a difficulty". It
takes place on the ice tower. The competitors
will climb as high as possible on a wall of ice
more and more difficult. The aim is to get to
the top. The climber discovers the handholds
and the itinerary during his progression. He
has between 6 to 12 minutes to climb. Someone
belay the climber at the foot of the wall. The
ranking is determined according to the
height. Event registered in the French
Federation of Mountain and Climbing calendar.

LA KRAMELET - Original
TELEMARK meeting:
Initiation, show, descente in traditionnal
costumes: the telemark for everybody!
Up
to the chairlift of La Rossa,
after a snack and a tasting of local
products (beaufort, etc.), initiations
and discovery of the activity on the slopes,
etc...
During the afternoon: Race
by team of 2 (funny and varied
course) but also demonstration, etc. Music live
on the snowpark, open air barbecue, everything
to have a good atmosphere!
In
the evening, at
Champagny:
Square
Centre: Prices awards and election of the best
costume.
After
meal and concert at the Village Hall to dance
all the night!
