Full Moon Evenings: NIGHT SKIING ON THE SUMMITS

Night skiing has been possible in Les 2 Alpes for 25 years. The idea is to ski after the lifts have closed, while the moon creates a surreal

atmosphere on the ski slopes, giving fearless skiers unforgettable thrills. This night skiing evening is unique as it takes place on the 2 Alpes glacier at an altitude of 3,200m. The programme: skiing on the glacier till sunset, mountain dinner at altitude and then downhill in the moonlight to the ski station (1,600m altitude), i.e. more than 1,600m altitude difference. An unforgettable and intense experience reserved for the privileged few: the first 150 to enrol.

Freeride Attitude’: raising awareness for skiing off piste.

The Freeride Attitude event takes place every week on Mondays and Tuesdays. It aims at increasing public awareness of the mountain, avalanches and skiing off piste. It should be remembered that the station wants to inform about and not prohibit off piste skiing! For 12 years now, Les 2 Alpes has given you the opportunity to learn how to ski off piste safely!

BABYSNOW’, NEW SNOW EQUIPMENT FOR THE LITTLE ONES

In 2010, Les 2 Alpes has introduced the BABYSNOW, a new piece of equipment for winter sports. Developed by a ski instructor / mountain guide from Les 2 Alpes, it is like a snowscoot for young children. Dedicated to children from 1 to 5, it can be used while snowshoeing, walking or especially skiing. The adult and the child can have fun together. All those who have tried it were impressed. Parents and children can finally share a moment together. It is more than a sledge; it is more original and sensational.

The BABYSNOW is for sale and/or rental in most sports shops in Les 2 Alpes.

The Ski School of Les 2 Alpes offers training to parents who would like to try the BABYSNOW with their children.
