hall place, 10 craftsmen await you to show you
their Christmas products. Little Christmas
Market open from 11 to 12 am and from 3 to 7
pm. Everyday, Father Christmas will be here,
hot wine and hot chocolate offered, horse-drawn
carriage tours...

International Ice Sculpture Competition
- NEW!
For the 21st year, the contest will run from
Tuesday to Friday: 4 days!!
Talented artists invite you to discover ice
sculpted works.
Come and discover the artists at work, day and
night, in the hamlet "Les Verneys".
The contest takes place two km from Valloire in
the hamlet "Les Verneys".
In the evening: musical and light show.

29th Snow Sculpture Contest -
Traditional art from Canada... snow sculpture
is part of short-lived arts. Valloire is the
only place in France to organise this
international event.
This event is a real attractive moment and is
also the possibility to meet the artists, to
live the magic of these masterpieces made of
snow.
Friday, January 27th:
From 10 am to 3 pm: Vote for the public and
the Youth Prizes
12 am: End of the contest
From 12 am till 4.30 pm: Jury's passing
through and deliberation.
5 pm: Prize giving ceremony of the National
contest and the International contest.
6 pm: Torch-lit descent by the professional of
the resort / Fire-works / Fire lights on all
the sculptures.

Valloire celebrates its World Champion -
from 6.30 pm at the foot of the Brive
cable-car: showing of the gold medal, giant
screen, torchlite descent, fireworks...
Jean-Baptiste Grange will be present as well as
Jean-Noël Augert.

free to begin skiing without spending money.
