Tour de France

2011 will be the 100th year that the Tour de France climb the Galibier Pass. To celebrate this anniversary, two stages of the race will go through this mythical road!
Lots of activities will be organised in Valloire these 2 days.

Stage Turin > Serre-Chevalier > Galibier

Stage Modane > Galibier > L'Alpe d'Huez

Peak Sounds Festival (Pic Sonne Festival)

Valloire will live at the rhythm of the Blues during one week: the association "Route 902" presents the third edition of this festival. Blues rock concerts in Bonnenuit and in the heart of the town.

The Galibier trail: a technical pedestrian race of 50 kms with 3600 m of difference in altitude... On August 21st, 2011, other pedestrian races will be organised: The Telegraph trail: a more accessible race; "Challenge adjudant-chef Barbaro" and activities for children.

1 / 2 day (Morning or afternoon) : Child and adult> 9 €
Day: Child> 10 € - adults> 12 €
6 consecutive days: Child> € 37.50 - adult> 48 €

TÉLÉSIÈGE DU LAC DE LA VIEILLE (chairlift)

Sunday to Friday from 10h to 16h30.

Costs:

From €1.50 for chairlift one descent and from €5 for gondola one descent. Half day from €9, full day from €12. 6 days from €37.50.

From beginning of July to end of August

Monday afternoon from 13hr – 16.30hr & Thursdays from 10hr – 12hr and from 12hr – 16hr.

Valloire offers a package Multipass 1 € per day for the ice rink, swimming pool and lift.
