Festival of Animated Films-
every year since
1960 at the beginning of June Annecy is the
meeting-place for the world of Animated Films
Presentation and showing of films in
competition in various theatres in the town,
homages, retrospectives,
exhibitions
Giant-screen
showings every evening on the Paquier.
Entry free. The Annecy Animation Film
Festival is celebrating its 50th birthday!
Projections from 10.30 a.m. to 11 p.m. in 8
sites spread around the town, and late night
open-air shows on a giant screen by the
lakeside.

The "P'tit bal perdu" comes back for 11
Sundays this summer. With irresistible party
atmosphere, friendliness, charm with a hint of
nostalgia, family and lovers' picnics,
protected by wonderful trees, it is an
invitation to dance in the heart of these
delicious getaways to forget time just for a
while. Every Sunday from 18h to 22h.

National Celebration - Lake Annecy and
its surrounding villages offer you fireworks
and dancing. From 4 p.m. events for children,
then from 8 p.m. events of different kinds. At
10 p.m. fireworks followed by public dancing at
11 p.m. Free public access.

The Noctibules– Four
evenings, four big times in the town featuring
street theatre, funfair style theatre,
fireworks parade, aerial shows, circus and
original brass bands, combining event shows and
new inspirations, national and regional
companies.

Lake Festival – On the first
Saturday of August the bay of Albigny welcomes
the biggest pyrotechnic show of
Europe…80 minutes of fireworks in rhythm
with music, lights, special effects…It
is the kind of show that you have to see at
least once in your life!
Born from the great “Venetian
style” party of 1860 on the lake in
honour of Napoleon the 3rd, this event has
evolved and integrated all the new technologies
of fireworks.
Grandiose, unexpected, this is a unique
production, played only always inducing the
same interest from the 200,000 people gathered
near the lake.

Swim across Lake Annecy - this mass
event, which had several hundred participants,
last year, allows you to do a small (1000m) or
big (2400m) cross-lake swim in the bay of
Albigny.
