Chalet Coteau is set on the hillside near
Verchaix village above Morillon and Samoens.
The views towards Flaine, Morillon and Taninges
are just tremendous. The centres of Morillon
and Samoëns with their shops, restaurants
and three main Grand Massif/Flaine piste
departures are just a short 8 mins drive away.

Chante is 20m away, Chalet
Gueules de Loup 150m. For convenience
there is a large free cark park at the foot of
the new Samoëns gondola. The free ski bus
also stops at Verchaix centre, some 300m from
the chalet (taking 11 minutes to the gondola).
It is only 50 mins drive from Geneva.
Completed in January 2005 and built in
traditional Savoyard style, Chalet Coteau
boasts new furniture and fittings and consists
of three floors with three bedrooms that can
sleep seven. It is British-owned and
tastefully decorated throughout. Wood is
a key theme in the décor with plenty of
pine paneling.
The chalet has a flat screen TV, UK satellite
and DVD player.
There is a double bedroom with en suite
bath/shower/wc located on the ground
floor. On the first floor is a
comfortable open-plan sitting room with log
burner and dining area. There’s
also a clip-on baby chair for little
ones. The doors lead out onto the large
covered veranda. This floor also has a
shower room. The kitchen is modern and
fully equipped.
The second floor houses a second double
bedroom, plus a toilet and hand basin.
There is also a bedroom with three single beds.
For the comfort of all guests, the chalet is
strictly non-smoking.
End of stay cleaning is included in the price.
Bed linen (beds made on arrival) and towels are
provided. End of stay cleaning is included in
the price. A travel cot is available €15.
Refundable deposit £400 payable by UK
cheque prior to departure. Local tourist tax
payable locally c€1.00/pers/day.

‘Coteau’ means
‘hillside’ and this is a beautiful
site. Standing on the balcony you have an
amazing left-to-right panoramic picture and
when you first see the sun rise over the
mountains to your left, lighting up the valley
below you really do feel on top of the
world!
Spend time browsing the shops in Samoens and
having a cake in the beautiful coffee
shops! A walk around the lake and park in
Morillon is great for blowing away the
cobwebs.
You could, of course, just settle down in
front of the log burner, on our comfy sofa and
read your book, glancing at the view as you
leave your seat to top up your glass of
delicious local wine!
