Chalet Chante is located in Verchaix, just past
Morillon and a few minutes drive from
Samoëns. This newly built, south-facing
property offers expansive views across the
valley.
The centres of Morillon and Samoëns with
their shops, restaurants and three main Grand
Massif/Flaine piste departures are just a short
5-8 minute drive away. Chalet
Coteau is 20m away and Gueules
de Loup 150m away. For
convenience, there is a large free car park at
the foot of the new Samoëns gondola.
The free ski bus also stops at Verchaix
centre, some 300m from the chalet (taking
11 minutes to the gondola). It is only 50
mins drive from Geneva.
The Chalet, which was completed in November
2004, is arranged over three well-appointed
floors. It is fully equipped with brand
new fittings and comfortable furnishings
including TV and video as well as a selection
of toys, books and videos for the children.
(Please note that the TVs are not set up to
receive broadcast TV [even French TV] and
therefore are only used for DVDs and
videos.)
On the ground floor there is an open plan
living / dining / kitchen area. The
living area has two comfortable sofas and a
chair and a dining table. The stunning
views of the Giffre Valley can also be enjoyed
from the terrace, which runs along the front
and side of the residence. The open plan
kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher,
microwave, hob and fridge freezer. There is
also a bathroom with bath on this floor and a
separate wc.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms.
One has a double bed and the other two have two
single beds in each. There is also a
fourth bedroom on the lower level of the
chalet. It has an ensuite
shower/washbasin/wc and can be made in to
either a twin or double room.
For the comfort and convenience of guests there
is under floor heating throughout the chalet
and a utility room with washing machine and
dryer on the lower floor.

A folding travel cot, high chair and changing
mat are also available at no extra charge.
End of stay
cleaning, bed linen and towels are included in
the price. Refundable deposit £400
payable by UK cheque prior to departure. Local
