Samoens
“Just
returned from holiday and wanted to say thank you.
The hotel was excellent, the area was magnificent and
the directions and arrangements made by yourselves were first class. I
will recommend Samoens, the hotel and your company to
everyone I talk to. Once again thank
you”
Mr
W. Leeds – Samoens, Hotel Neige et Roc, August
2005
“We
have just returned from a very enjoyable week in Le
Marolie in Samoëns.
The apartment was good, and within easy reach of the
ski bus, and the ski area excellent”
Mrs E.
Essex – Samoëns, le Marolie, March 2005
“I
was extremely impressed with the very helpful way you
dealt with the administrative aspects of the holiday.
I think we changed the passenger details, the car
details and the ferry timing, as well as changing
other elements such as pre-booking of equipment hire.
You seemed unperturbed by any of these alterations
and at no time was I made to feel uncomfortable about
making work for you….We had an excellent time,
a reflection of good weather, good snow and a degree
of local mobility as a result of having driven
there.”

Oxford - Samoëns, Les Fermes de Samoens, 11th

“The
chalet was very comfortable indeed and we had a great
time. All in All we liked Samoens very much. The
skiing was excellent and the non-skiers enjoyed the
village and walks in the surrounding countryside.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed
the local restaurants. It is highly likely that we
will want to visit Chalet Michelle again in the
future.”

and surprisingly good snow for April.”
Mr P.

had a wonderful time in Samoëns in the Criou apartment. It was
really nice and the village is just beautiful.
The time of year is also very good. There were hardly
anybody on the roads, the slopes were almost empty
and the snow was still very good. The people
are very friendly and speak good
English.”
Mrs
G.
Surrey – Samoëns, Alpina des Moulins, March 2004
“Our
holiday was very enjoyable and everything went
smoothly including the arranged transfer from Geneva
airport. The hotel accommodation was to a good

extremely friendly, helpful and obliging. We
also enjoyed the resort, which we found very relaxing

problems visiting again.”

delightful hotel and our accommodation was
excellent. Over all we enjoyed the holiday and
would certainly consider using Peak Retreats
again.”
Mr L.
Carmarthen – Samoëns, Neige et Roc, December
2003
“We
had a wonderful holiday in Samoëns and are
really glad that you recommended that particular
village for us. We loved the place, it is the right size of
village, not too touristy, not too many Brits around
and loads of French families on holiday together,
which was refreshing. Our son had the best
holiday ever and the mountain biking was
fantastic. Neige et
Roc was very good and the owners were very kind,
hospitable- we can see why you use this hotel.
We would certainly return there.”
Mrs G.
Aberdeenshire – Samoëns, Neige et Roc, August
2003

“The
Neige et Roc was very
comfortable and definitely to be recommended.
The skiing was great – so may runs to choose
from. This was our first time in France, having
had all our skiing holidays in Austria, but having
had such an enjoyable week we’re all keen to
return to Samoëns again.”
Mrs L.
Camberley – Samoëns, Hotel Neige et Roc, February

the staff working there were.”
Mr R.

Les
Carroz
“We
had a lovely two weeks in Les Carroz. The travelling to
France could nothave gone
any smoother. Les Clarines was wonderful.
Christine could not have been more helpful and
professional. As a family we reallyenjoyed
Les Carroz. The
people on the whole are very friendly and
polite. The restaurants are very good and the
supermarkets are well stocked. The ski-bus is
excellent and provides a very friendly service.
The ski school is very well run and our children have
progressed to a good standard. Most of the ski
instructors are very child friendly! We will
hopefully return there again.”
Mrs M.
Brighton – Les Carroz, Les Clarines, February
2004
“We
had a super time and how you organised it to snow on
Wednesday/Thursday was beyond us all! The
accommodation was great……We had a
superb time and managed to get lots of good skiing
in. Les Carroz was
excellent so please thank Nathalie for me; everyone
was asking how I managed to get such a good resort so
near to Geneva.”
Mr G.
Buckinghamshire -Les Carroz, Les Servages April 2003
Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval
“We
arranged our Christmas break in Sixt at Chalet le Penoutlay. We thought it was
delightful, and your description exactly
right”
Dr T. Kent
– Le Penoutlay,
Sixt-Fer-A-Cheval, December 2004
"We had a superb family holiday! I have now
recommended Peak Retreats to 3 other families all of
whom have had good experiences too! Although our
resort had no snow we were able to drive to Les Saisies which was family
friendly and had free parking! The accommodation
including tunnel price we paid represents great value
for money and we have already put a reservation on a
holiday for next year. The upgrade to the tunnel
service was superb and I hope peak retreats are able
to do the same next year!! A very satisfied
customer."
Mrs J, Solihull - Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, Le Village, 07th
April 2007
“Thank you for
the great ski break in
Notre Dame de Bellecombe.
The apartment was great. The people were great. The
ski hire people looked after us and were
brilliant…..I have already told loads of
people and will continue to do so. I cannot believe
that this is probably the best holiday experience we
have had in terms of being looked after. I am
impressed and look forward to our next break with
you”

Morillon
“Thank
you for your helping
arranging my trip to the Hotel Le Morillon over
Christmas. The hotel was ideal, super position and
importantly we found the staff most accommodating in
the vegetarian requirements of my wife! The food was
very good, excellent service and the wine list
offered a sufficient choice of quality wines at a
very fair price. We were blessed of course with
excellent skiing conditions and being able to ski
back to the hotel was great. I reckon this village is
in an ideal position for access to the Grand Massif
ski area. It would be too quiet, perhaps, for the
younger partygoers but for us golden oldies, a
youthful 50, just fine! Another good choice by your
company”
Mr. S,
Bristol – Morillon, Hotel Le Morillon,
22nd December 2005
“Everything
Peak Retreats organised worked like
clockwork…. Overall we found the service from
Peak Retreats excellent and we will definitely be
using you again. We loved the fact that Morillon was
quiet and not very commercialised. We look forward to
skiing with you again”
Mrs C.
Lanark – Morillon, Le Buet, April 2005
“We
recently returned from our family skiing holiday
booked via Peak Retreats….the addition of a
piste map in the final
documents was a great touch, we got to plan all the
runs before even arriving, the kids loved
that…your maps were excellent and we had no
problem in finding our hotel, Le Buet…the staff were both
friendly and helpful. We found the flat very clean
and the equipment level good… The whole
holiday was fab!”
Mrs B.
Cambridgeshire – Morillon, Le Buet, March 2005
“Just
got back and thought I’d drop you a note. The
accommodation was excellent – having had many
ski holidays where hot water was as rare as
hen’s teeth it was a delight to have two
showers and a bath with ample water for all 6
including three girls!!! We were all extremely
impressed with the facilities in the apartment and
location was excellent – especially pleasing
being able to leave the skis and boots at the shop
– a very welcome facility at the end of a hard
days skiing.”
Mr A.
Sydenham – Morillon, Le Refuge de
l’Alpage, March 2005
“We have now
returned from our holiday and enjoyed it very
much”

giving us the opportunity for a holiday we
wouldn’t have been able to afford
otherwise.”

Mr I.
Hertfordshire – Morillon, Le Refuge de

“I
just wanted to thank you for your efficient and
helpful organisation of our recent holiday to

for our young family for the children’s first
experience of skiing. I look forward to booking with
you next year!”

go back!”
Mr I.

“Just a short note to say thank
you for your help and advice in booking our first
ever family skiing holiday in Morillon.
We’ve just returned and had a fantastic time
– one of my best holidays ever. The place
you recommended was exactly what we wanted…we
just jumped over the ground floor balcony and skied
off in the morning…couldn’t have been
better!”
Mrs C.
Warrington – Morillon, Le Buet, January 2004
“I’d
like to say many thanks for making booking a holiday
an easy and enjoyable experience, everyone that I
dealt with at Peak Retreats was helpful and polite,
keep up the good work. The holiday was great
and that was due to a multitude of things. The
accommodation was good and managed very well,
although we did have a language barrier to begin
with, it turned out to be good fun learning some
French just to get by, everyone was so patient and
believe me they need to
be. Please pass on our thanks to the people
there as I’m sure we didn’t make it very
clear. The transfer to and from the airport was
also a very pleasant experience and on time and it
was very easy to make arrangements with them for the
return. Morillon is a great little village and
the people are really friendly and a great base to
gain access to The Grand Massif. And to top it
all, it snowed all week which made the skiing just
the best.”
Mr I.
Epsom – Morillon, Trefle a 4 Feuilles, January
2004

The

friendly”
Mr M.

“I just wanted
to say thank you very much to whoever organised the
retrieval of my bag which was left on the ferry on
the outward journey. We picked it up without any
trouble at all when we got off the ferry. It was

“We
have now returned from our holiday in
France……we were very happy with our
accommodation at Le Birdie”
Mr
& Mrs H, Nottingham – Annecy, Le Birdie,
August 2006
“Feedback
on the resort: Very good for children as there is a
playground that you can still sit and keep an eye on
them. Excellent facilities, good standard of
accommodation, very clean, staff friendly. Would
strongly recommend beach shoes as the shore is very
rocky. All the travel info we received was good and
informative. If you don’t take food for on
arrival it is a bit tricky at the L’O
restaurant (on site) as you have to book a table for
meals. Excellent restaurant, all nearby and very
happy to have children there. We would definitely go
back to La Baie des
Voiles”
