skied in 12 years and with our children who took to

was the cheapest available as we had to do the
holiday on a budget so we knew would get it so it

access from the motorway and well located in the
actual resort. The lack of snow in Morillon itself
meant that we couldn’t ski from the door but
again that’s the chance you take with going
late season. That said, it didn’t hinder us at
all – we were able to ski right back down into
Morillon 1100. You came highly recommended by a
friend of mine who has booked with you twice before
and I have already sung your praises to many friends.

perfect (it was snowing when we arrived and then the
sun shone all week) but the location of the

everything was fantastic. We had apartments opposite
some friends which really helps as we could share the
cooking and the children could play together in the
evening. I have been on many skiing holidays and have
paid a fortune in the past. Going with your company
was in no way a compromise, even though it was that
much cheaper. In fact due to it being so good we have
passed your web address onto a number of friends and
will definitely be booking with you again next year,
as it was so good value we may even be able to afford
two weeks skiing which has never been a possibility
in the past. Of course it helped by the conditions
being perfect (it was snowing when we arrived and
then the sun shone all week) but the location of the
apartments was fantastic – I have never stayed
so close to the slopes before. Anyway I just wanted
to tell you what a fantastic time we had and keep up

beginners and the village at Les Esserts had plenty
of facilities, with easy access to Morillon Village
by cable car. The apartment was very nice and in an

facilities. We spoke to other holiday makers who had

excellent value for money. On the whole we were

“Many
thanks for your co-operation and attention to detail
when we booked our holiday. Morillon and the
surrounding resorts are fantastic with many
interesting and varied pistes enough to challenge
anyone from beginner to expert. I am a great fan of
casual skiing ie. in my own time with occasional
stops for coffee and food. The Grand Massif offers
plenty of mountain restaurants enough to satisfy
everyone. The snow was the best for 10 years, which
obviously helps the enjoyment. Best of all, Le Buet
apartments were right on the piste enabling us to ski
to and from without carrying hefty skis. The
apartment itself was superb compared to other French
resorts, nicely finished, spacious and close to the
resort shop, ski hire and lift pass office. We drove
through from Calais which was easier than finding
most places in England with the downside being nearly
2000 miles return from Cumbria. But this will not put
me off. Please pass on our thanks to everyone at Peak
Retreats for a great time.”

super position and importantly we found the staff

my wife! The food was very good, excellent service
and the wine list offered a sufficient choice of

of course with excellent skiing conditions and being
able to ski back to the hotel was great. I reckon
this village is in an ideal position for access to
the Grand Massif ski area. It would be too quiet,
perhaps, for the younger partygoers but for us golden
oldies, a youthful 50, just fine! Another good choice

accommodation was good and managed very well,

with, it turned out to be good fun learning some
French just to get by, everyone was so patient and

to and from the airport was also a very pleasant

arrangements with them for the return. Morillon
is a great little village and the people are really
friendly and a great base to gain access to The Grand

du Savoy in Apt. 406. We had a great time, the
apartment was so much nicer than the MGM one we
stayed in last year. The apartment was situated very
close to the main swimming pool which was fantastic
for the boys. Also joy oh joy to mothers of young
boys the apartment had 2 washing machines which makes
life so much easier. However what made our stay very
special was the fabulous care that the girls, the
Marias we called them, Lucy and friend gave us during
our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they
booked our babysitter and also all our restaurants
plus making additional enquiries about activities for
the boys. I would be very grateful if you would let
them know I have contacted you to commend them. I
would not hesitate to recommend this holiday to
anyone who wanted to visit Chamonix. Thank you for

Chalet Le Pontet was without doubt the best self
catering accommodation we have ever stayed in and
would recommend its quiet location to your other
guests. Although we did not ski in Les Gets it was a
delightful little town with some excellent
restaurants etc. Avoriaz proved to be a good stomping
ground even with the very high temperatures the snow
was pretty good on the mornings turning to
‘poor mans powder’ by lunchtime. Again
thanks for all the long distance help and sorting out
ski school. I am not sure of our plans for next year
but if all goes to plan I will definitely be booking
with you again and without hesitation would recommend

having had a wonderful time. The weather was just as
it had been here over the last week, extremely hot
and sunny. That obviously meant bad news for the snow
on the lower slopes but there was plenty up high. We
went to Les Contamines on Thursday and Friday and the
extra height made a big difference to the quality of
the snow (of which there was plenty). We really like
St Gervais, as you said we would…..Le Grand
Panorama was excellent in all respects: staff,
