Hotel Le Morgane
Situated at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, by the
Aiguille du Midi cable car and in the
pedestrian town centre, Le Morgane has 59 rooms
and suites. All the rooms have been entirely
renovated during summer 07:
Standard rooms (13m2) have a
double bed,
Superior rooms (21m2) twin or
double,
Luxury rooms (30m2) have a
double bed and in some an extra single bed
(sleep max 2 adults + 1 child),
Suites sleep 4 and have a double bed or
twin beds and a lounge with a double sofa bed
making them ideal for two couples.Some suites
are inter-connecting.
At Le Morgane the rooms all have en suite
bathroom, wc, and either a balcony or terrace
with great views towards the surrounding peaks.
Le Morgane has a cosy lounge with leather
sofas. There is also a highly recommended
onsite restaurant, called Le Bistrot, whose
Chef Mickey got his first Michelin star this
year. Le Morgane will be totally renovated to
4-star standard for the winter season.
Facilities at Le Morgane include an
indoor heated swimming pool, sauna,
steam room. Massage and beauty treatments can
be arranged locally. Local tourist tax
c€1.50/pers/day to pay locally.
Restaurant Alan Peru noodle bar opens opened on
Friday 18th May. This is a new noodle bar
beside the Le Morgane on avenue l'Aiguille du
Midi. The interior is a surprising mix of
Savoyard and Eastern mysticism. The fusion
shows here and in bringing eastern cooking to
France Alan Peru knew that the French market
demands quality desserts.
Mains are typically around the €12 mark
and starters are around €7.
