Cybele

The residence was built to host athletes during the 1992 Winter Olympics. It is situated 300m from the resort centre and 600m from the Olympe cable car (linking Meribel and the 3 Vallées slopes in 25 minutes). It has its own shuttle bus, free to residents, to the gondola. The walk to the resort centre, its shops, casino, bars and restaurants takes 4 minutes.

Cybèle is a group of 4 six storey buildings comprising 132 apartments. The only section we feature has 70 apartments entirely renovated to a 4-star standard for winter 07/08 season.

The residence has a small indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi, sauna (1 free session per apartment, then €39/apartment/7 sessions), free outdoor parking or payable covered car park (£36, state at time of booking, subject to availability), games room, fitness room, laundry room (payable), a bar, a totally refurbished and stylish restaurant (with possibility of  evenings meals (3, 5 or 7), half-board or full-board, see pricing page for details), lift, ski lockers. Wireless internet access at Reception (payable).

The apartments at Cybele are decorated in a sleek, modern alpine style; they have a living area with single divan bed + extra drawer bed, fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, mini-oven or microwave, a bathroom with bath or shower, wc. All apartments have a balcony.

Alcove Studio sleeping 2-4 (c 28m²): alcove in entrance hall with bunk beds

1 bedroom alcove apartment sleeping 4-6 (c 55m2): bedroom with double bed, alcove with bunk beds, extra shower room.

1 bedroom 2 alcove apartment sleeping 6-8 (c 60m2): bedroom with double bed, 2 alcoves each with bunk beds, extra shower room.

Prices include: fully equipped apartment. Loan of high chairs (subject to availability).

To pay locally: refundable deposit €200, local tourist tax c €1/pers/day, end of stay cleaning if apartment is not left in perfect order €55-€70.

To hire: bed linen + towels £12/pers (state at time of booking), TV €31/week, cot €25/week (subject to availability, state at time of booking). Pets welcome €34/week each (max 2/apt).

HOTEL SERVICES: beds made on arrival £36-£46/apartment, end of stay cleaning £57-£72/apartment or beds made on arrival + final cleaning (excl kitchen area) £82-£103/apartment (payable at time of booking).
