Make a ski holiday even more special by having an unforgettable experience: from snowshoeing to a Yourt and making your own cheese fondue, to a ski tour under the stars, or dining in an igloo, there is really is something for everyone. Unusual apres-ski activities are becoming increasingly popular.
Here are a couple of great examples of unusual apres-ski. Do you have any examples to add? Let us know in the comments below.
Hike under the stars (randonnée sous les étoiles) in Aussois, with Gérard, a local ski instructor and mountain guide. Gérard meets his guests at 6pm in the resort and takes them for a wonderful hour-long walk under the stars, up to a refuge, where a well-deserved cheese fondue with local charcuterie awaits his walkers. This is €22 per person.
Vamorel organises ‘resto-apéro-gliss’ which takes place every Wednesday. After a delicious dinner of local specialties in a mountain restaurant, guests slide down in the resort on a Snake-gliss. This is from €26 to €50 per person.
