Terre de Bellevarde
Located on the mountainside, 10km south of
Annecy, Terre de Bellevarde is a traditional
12th century farmhouse in a rural setting
offering peerless views over the Annecy lake.
Surrounded by a small forest and open fields,
Terre de Bellevarde provides a tranquil holiday
retreat, yet is less than a mile from the lake
and its attractions.
The owners fell in love with the place and in
2002 decided to convert it into a family-run
complex of 5 cosy apartments and a restaurant.
All the apartments aredecorated in a
traditional rustic style with touches of
country character.
The apartments are all slightly different. The
common features are: living area with a double
divan bed (made of 2 single beds), fully
equipped kitchenette with fridge, electrical
hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee-maker, bedroom
with 2 single beds, bathroom with bath (1 with
hip bath, 1 with a large shower).
All beds are 2m long and can be made up as
either a double bed or 2 singles.
Each apartment has a special feature:
Le Chene (37m2) has a private 60m2
furnished patio area, ideal for families with
young children. (This apartment is also
suitable for disabled guests)
Le Balcon (42m2) has a balcony with
great views over the lake
L’Ecureuil (40m2) has a 10m2
private terrace opening onto the garden
L’Escalier
(49m2) has separate entrance from the outside
and very spacious bedroom (22m2)
Le Panorama (52m2) has a spacious living
area and bedroom, both offering a glorious
panorama towards the lake
Available to all residents: a spacious lounge
with stone open fire, TV and video, books,
board games, and newspapers. A laundry room
with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and
ironing board. Ample private parking, two
furnished terraces where meals can be taken in
summer (one of 350m2 with panoramic views over
the lake and the valley), sunny lawns with
reclining chairs… The on-site restaurant
offers hearty traditional Savoyard food at very
reasonable prices.
Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are
included. Cleaning materials, vacuum cleaners
and cots are provided free of charge.
Local tourist tax c €0.50/person/day
(payable locally).
