Semnoz ski area – 20mins from Annecy

A small but very family and beginner focussed, Semnoz is above Lake Annecy at 1704m with amazing 360 views towards the Lake and Mont-Blanc.
Lift passes from 7.70€ for 2 hours and €13 for 7 hours. It is a pay as you go system so you only pay for the hours you want to ski.
For downhill, there are 18 slopes (7 Green, 5 Blue, 6 Red), 11 lifts (2 chairlifts, 7 drag lifts, 2 rope lifts). There is a ski school (ESF) and a kindergarten.
There is also 46km of
cross country slopes so pretty big. Three Green (Le djinn 2.5 km, Le lynx 2 km, La panoramique 5 km); Three Blue (Les alouettes 3 km, Le puma 4 km, Les gazelles 8.5 km), Two Red (Les lamas 3.5 km, Les frelons 4.5 km) and One Black (La panthère noire 13 km).
Snowshoeing area, luge area with magic carpet lift for kids plus Swyd.

Aeroslide – From December to end of April (La Clusaz), 10am-5pm.
During the winter you will fly with an instructor above the village of La Clusaz: nice flight (with skis) above the village of La Clusaz.

Golf de Giez – Open all year from 8am – 7pm, but closed if snowy! The Belvedere, a 18 hole golf at Giez “Lac d’Annecy” offers 2 levels of game. Its upper level boasts a magnificent view of the lake of Annecy and Mont-Blanc, while on the lower level the fairway wind through oah and poplar forests straddling. The river “Eau Morte”, splendid ornamental lakes adorm the counse and add to the pleasure of game.

Access
By Road: Driving distance from Calais to Annecy 817km (approx 7hrs30)
From Calais follow the A26/E15 in the direction of Lens/Arras and then Reims. Take the exit marked Reims-Tinqueux, Châlons-en-Champagne, Metz, Nancy, Strasbourg & Lyon. Follow the A4/E50, then the E17 towards Châlons-en-Champagne. Take the exit marked Saint-Gibrien, Châlons-en-Champagne, Troyes & Lyon. Continue on the E17 then the A26/E17 towards Troyes. Next take the A40 towards Bourg-en-Bresse/Annecy and take exit 11 to Annecy.
